Is anyone here familiar with this? Supposedly these are certain frequencies of sounds that can make you experience the effects of certain drugs, and much more. I was surprised to find that the science behind this wasn't complete pseudoscience malarky.Binaural beats. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats)

My first try was opium, nothing much. But a little something. Next was ecstacy (which is a sexual effect, I'm not sure if it is related at all to the drug,) and then I was definitely feeling something. Next was orgasm. While it didn't "succeed," I'm definitely convinced that these "i-doses" are capable of doing something. Supposedly, a lot of the time it doesn't really work on the first few tries, but the more you do it the easier it comes. Also, it should be completely dark, and you should be lying down. I'm pretty sure drug doses don't have the exact same effect as the actual drug, I'm sure it's more of a tofu meat vs real meat thing.

For all I know, there is simply just a lot of power of suggestion going on here. I supposed being tricked into orgasm is just as good as having your brain vibrated to orgasm.

Of course, I don't expect anyone to actually go and register and pay for this shit: enjoy. (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3YUHOTHH) The i-Doser, plus every single dose available. Including the Hand of God, which costs 299.95 on their site. For comparison, everything else costs around three to eleven dollars. It's supposedly really intense. and dangerous. Someone try it and tell me how it is.

So all in all, very interesting, but not something I am going to partake in regularly because I'm scared of being brainwashed.

Considering the samples provided I'll pass...I have much better "drug like inducing" music in my collection and big speakers to boot.

Seeing that you should lie down in the dark to get the full effect sucks as it is. Some drugs are enhanced by movement, touch, and exploration (e, lsd, shrooms, weed).

Have fun and report back your experiences!

Oh yeah, it's severely handicapped compared to real drugs. Still, cheap. No overdosing. Hopefully you won't get addicted.

I wonder what kind of effects this would have on those who have no idea what the sensations should sorta feel like?

For a simulated aural acid trip may I suggest Pomme Fritz by The Orb...messed up!

I'm not really interested in the drug ones. I'm more interested in the sexual ones, hand of god, and a-bomb. Ones that are unique experiences.

Hmm... Intriguing.

I went here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats) for more information and played the first link, and it made my brain feel like it was a fish being attacked with a claw hammer - floppy and a bit woosy/woozy.

I wonder what the applications for this could be in therapy...if it truly works

Also, is there supposed to be alot of white noise/fuzz on top of the frequency?

I have some binaural beats cds that help you relax, meditate and even help you have out of body experiences.

They work.

I think binaural beats are used sometimes to treat addiction.

I just tried peyote. Nothing really happened. But I'm going to keep on trying.

I think without fully knowing what you are doing these could be potentially dangerous. I dabbled in this a while ago and found it to be interesting, but the real problem I see with it is that everyones brain works at a different frequency. they all work within ranges, but the frequency of my brain in a particular state (ie orgasm, on drugs, resting...) isnt the same as yours. So u really need to know your own frequencies and tune the sounds to that to get to whatever state you desire. I agree completely that is does something, but in my opinion to get the most out of it you would first need to learn your own brain patterns. There's no point starting at 4hz if your already at 8. I really want to try and monitor my own brain frequencies for this exact reason but never discovered a cheap and easy way to do that.

kaiser, in my experience, some of them have white noise some of them don't. The software I had allowed you to create your own and the white noise was just an option to turn on or off. I think it's just there to kinda soften the sound a bit.

I tried hand of god last night. Didn't do anything. So then I got high. and tried it a bit later. And it worked. It wasn't the best hand of god experience, but it was a start. A couple places were pretty intense. I guess pot must get my brain working at the right frequency.
