This was the title of a program i watched the other night, it was about these dudes who are world memory champions. Pretty bonkers stuff.
One guy memorised the order of a pack of cards and then replicated the order in 26 seconds and memorised a 2000 digit number.
The way they memorise a big number is assign a picture to about 1000 3 digit numbers and then make a story up using those pics to help them remember it. Its bordering on the autistic in my opinion.
They walk around their houses trying to remember these "stories" and trying to visualise it all.
Anyhoo, the point to this post was that the best bit was when one of them admitted that whilst he was walking around visualising, he had forgotten he had put a pie in the oven and nearly burnt his kitchen down:D oh the irony
