Just wanted to say that after a long, long break i just went on beastiemixes and its gone supernova! Its massive now and i've just spent ages on there!

Just wanted to give Silence a massive shout and all the rest of the producers on there. Top job by everyone.

Nice to see my amateur attempts are still there - i havent been able to do much music for a while but hope to add to it -one day!

Thanks for letting me know about my link - will change in a bit - also, will sort you out a photo for my page and having a look around ahs inspired me to have a go at making another mix so hopefully will have something orginal(ish) on my page very soon. I know 88 downloads is not a lot and is probably at the bottom of the pile but i was still chuffed that i had that many!

I wouldn't sweat the 88 downloads, usually it's the guys who promote their stuff, that get the most downloads. Having your name appear regularly on the front page of the site helps too.

If you post on other forums, add your page address to your sig like you do here, you'll start seeing higher numbers. Lower numbers are not a reflection of the quality of mixes.

Look at CosmoKramer, nYgel, Chromium05 and 7x5.... Giant numbers and their mixes all suck...!!! :p :eek: (you know I love you guys!)

Doing ok, i wish i had the money to do that! No, unfortunately i havent done much music to just because of life stuff to do (births,weddings,funerals,work,hospitals, that kind of thing)

Not had the cash or time to get more programs and stuff - but this week i have been inspired to get back on me copy of ACID and maybe produce some sort of track and should have summat soon

Yeah, I've got two songs doing well, Cosmo really is drawin in with the mashup album he did, smart move. Great for any beastie fan to download that pack.

Promotion helps, hit up ALL sites you can and throw you stuff down their throats.

http://www.thesixtyone.com has been my latest venture (http://www.thesixtyone.com/nygel) but you'll gain attention really fast through that. Also collaborations, which is hard to do in this sense, but thats how i've gained ANY popularity, which, when the new tracks drop, you bet I'm bringing an invasion of awesome underground rappers to drop verses.

thanks for the tips - if there is anyone on here who hasnt got a clue who i am or what i have done - please feel free to have a look at my page, most are just basic acapella v tracks but the ones by SITUATION (3 of them) are my original stuff. I would love to hear any feedback as i aim to start being a bit more prolific and could do with some pointers.

PS any body know how i can get my hands on a "copy" of fruity loops, mine's knackered , not bothered which version.
