My music diet has consisted of Sleater-Kinney, Big Daddy Kane, Blur, David Bowie, The Roots, Dilated Peoples, Econochrist, The Rolling Stones, El-P, Fela Kuti, GFK, Holly Golightly, Radiohead, Husker Du, Sonic Youth, The Dead Milkmen, Junior Murvin, Ministry, Mr. Lif, NIN, Portishead, The Raconteurs, The Stooges, The Stooges, Turbonegro, Ramjam Rodigan, and Young MC for the past couple of weeks. All of them have been good to me. So take your pick.

I tend to listen to Ass Cobra the most, maybe because it was the first album I got by them and the title of the album just drew me in. When I turned the CD over, and read titles such as, The Midnight NAMBLA, I Got Erection, and Denim Demon, i figured it would either be really really bad, or pretty fucking good. It ended up being the latter.

I'm not good at categorizing music so its hard to say what kind of genre they would fall under but I would say they are sort of punk metal. Just listen to snippets of the album on Amazon or something. If you like, then get it, if you don't, then move on.

weird...i was about to add fireball ministry in my list, but im half and half on them. they are good live, but the album is just alright. although ive only heard it while at work so i haven't been able to really focus on it.

terd...why don't you just go to the best albums of 2007 thread? and pick something from there?

I've never really listened to black mountain. I mean, I have never listened to them period and just now did. Not bad at all. Got some jams, some good laid back stuff as well.

Another good band is Band of Horses. Just got into them last year.
