Its a box down the bottom of the page for you to quickly type out a reply rather than clicking on the reply button and having it take you away to a new page to write out a message.

nice one but although that was well explained i am still not getting it - its not your explanantion its my lack of brain cells.
Would it be on each thread? Wont that make the reply button obsolete?
In fact, I better stop talkin because i dont think i am helping the rest of you here - the admin are just gonna think theres no point having a quick reply function because idiots like that incognito dude havent got a clue how to use it!

They are often a basic version of the reply page so they lack features such as the ability to edit the font type, size, colour etc.

We have the option within VB, but if I recall correctly we didn't use it as it was more of a drain on the system...

Yep, exactly. It also gives you an option to "go advance" like in the edit.

why should they add a quick reply when they cant even be bothered making the board readable for everyone.
ps. quick reply is shit cos people write mindless one word posts that they would normally bother to press post reply for

Dear admin,
I think what hitmonlee was trying to say was thanks for all the work you do and putting up with all our demands and requests but as i am sure you are aware - some people here are struggling with reading some posts as it displays them all the way accross the screen. I am sure that some techy dude is working on it. Could you provide us with some info if this is being looked into please?
Thanks

i didnt know quick reply drained anything. I just want advanced bbcode to post youtube vids direct into threads, which i could see getting annoying I guess.

i have that on anther board i use and its SO annoying.
if we can't even post pictures in threads (bar sure shots) why would we get youtube?
i know a lot of people who don't have the fastest computers (me)
and while the video doesn't load, the youtube box still slows the whole thing
to a standstill
