View Full Version : OMG- CAN YOU HELP ME NAH?
In the past two years my face/skin has changed drastically. And I'm getting so fucking sick of it.
I have "adult acne". I want it GONE. Ladies- any suggestions on creams, soaps, animal piss, etc.?
I'm on Loestrin (BC) now, and it's not working except for turning me into a fat fuck again.
Okay- thanks!
that pro active shit really works.

I think I was the only person pro active did NOT work for....
I am looking into light treatments....reccommended by my esthetician. Although it's quite costly...results are supposed to be awesome. I think I have exhausted every form of treatment TOY and I have to tell ya, per my dermatologist there are just some of us that have "problem" skin and just have to deal with it....sucks, I know.
*hugs*

if it's really bad, acutane
benzoyl peroxide is pretty effective (i think it's the centerpiece of proactiv's program but you can just buy a tube of the stuff for cheaper), but it dries your skin out pretty badly, you need to use a moisturizer to compensate. it worked pretty well on me, but i got kind of tired of the dry skin and decided to just put up with the acne (i don't have that much, just more than i'd like). i still use it whenever a particularly bad one pops up though, as sort of a spot treatment.

I had a really bad acne in my twenties. I went to a homeopath, she looked in my eyes (the colours in the irises) and then I got a list of homeopathic medicines that cured me in no time!
Also tea made from Viola tricolor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viola_tricolor) works wonders! Drink it two-three times a day for a couple of weeks and hey presto!

sometimes washing your face too much makes your skin react in break outs. try a mild face wash.
my friend had pretty bad break outs and my mom (she was an esthetician and instructor) was looking at her face once and told her that she should stop using acne wash because it was irritating her skin. the friend started using some clear face wash...fuck if I can remember what kind, sorry. it's in a squarish clear bottle, blue label.
anyway, her skin isn't perfect, but it got way way better. even the texture improved.
pro-activ works if you've got pimples, like greasy big ones.

That's what they are! I don't have acne-acne (where it's all over your face in clusters). Just those big, greasy pimps that pop up in random places. Right now I have one on my cheek, and all the guys in the warehouse where I work were calling me DeNiro :(

Im literally in tears from laughing so hard at that. Sorry. Thank you for making my sick Friday night.
