Alive video and song don't match

Of course this is my opinion but it seems the video is too goofy and silly while the song by itself is pretty serious. I don't think its really the ltrics but the music in general.

It's basically the Beastie Boys' "Wing Beneath My Wings."

The name of the song is Alive. They are riding mopeds, go carts, springy shoe thing's, jumping around with a kid on a pogo stick etc. The song is pretty goofy.. being Alive.. references to a remote for the bidet, Country Mike comes in for a sec even.. even throwing in and doing the Biz Mark dance and the cabbage patch. I think the video fit well.
