no. do not be afraid. the markets will come back. they move in cycles and what goes up must come down. what people are worried about is how low the lows will be. but I can assure you it won't last forever.

I just bought 10,000 shares of Fear Mongering Inc. so I'm good.

it's a buyer's market baby! Back up the truck.

As far as the U.S market is concerned, it's recession time. the analysts have been very hesitate to use that word though because they know it panics people. they are like a bunch of meterologists standing in the middle of a monsoon while trying to convince us it's not actually raining but there's just alot of moisture in the air.

let my give you a little tip. there are certain sectors of the market that stay fairly soild no matter what the economy is doing. these are known as defensive industries. they are:

nondurable consumer goods like: food, pharmaceuticals and tobacco.
utilities are generally a safe bet too...everyone needs power.

things you shouldn't go into right now are cyclical industries: they are durable goods like heavy machinery and raw materials like steel and automobiles.

technology falls into growth industries. and could go either way. but keep in mind that growth stocks usually don't pay you a dividend.

i dont like the idea of shares and stock-broking at all, partly because its a tool that the new world order use to keep us down.

ok. well keep on being poor then.:p

lol. I'm just kidding. I didn't like it at first either. now I find it interesting, but I won't say that the system isn't severly flawed. I've just decided if I can't beat em, join em.

there are publicly traded companies that aren't evil you know. It might be alot of work to find them, but they are out there. there are even a few investment firms that specialize in socially concious investing.

He didn't say what war though...

if he meant WWII, then that would be good thing as far as america is concerned, that shit pulled us out of the depression
