Is it completely asinine to talk about how much BBMB sucks?

I'm hoping we can discuss this and get somewhat of a conclusive answer. The posting of "This place sucks", "Boring!" or "It's not as good as it used to be" type of threads/remarks is what I'm getting at.

I don't think less of people who post those sort of remarks (some of them just suck as posters regardless), I just wonder exactly what they expect from this thing.

And the people who pine for the old days and old users are sort of just experiencing extreme nostaligia, right? I mean, it was never that amazing. Sure, some funny stuff has happened, but people tend to just use it to make other people feel their own 'new-ness' a bit more. Reminiscing is fine. I find a lot of it to slide into closed-mindedness, though. The people who are here now are great, too, you know?

well i hadnt posted in over a year until the other week - i did read the boards durin that hiatus but didnt really feel like joining in with anything that was going on but recently i have and i have enjoyed it so it cant suck. I reckon everybody has thought it was crap at one time or another but i wouldnt ever make a thread saying that- that makes it even worse.

I don't even know who half of the posters on here are now...then again I haven't really had time to hang out much either. Then again...this place has been in a downward spiral for quite some time now....perhaps an intervention is in order?
