Any suggestions on Oh Snap! vs. Public Access? I love old school hip hop and graffiti pics but am also interested in Ricky's BB photos. Does one have more then the other or are they both worth having?

I own them both...he's a terribly overrated photographer...I don't know about his other stuff...I'd really like to see a collection of Yauch's photography...I remember on the tour to support Ill Com watching Powell dance around down in front of the stage,snapping flicks and hassling security,cracking up Mike D....(y)

ricky powell is a good man ... his tv series was funny

his photos are interesting....but maybe "overated" - or over hyped

he smoked me up & im grateful to him

if you want beastie pics, go with Oh Snap!
if you want strange and some funny pics (not much beastie in it), go with Public Access.

I'd go with Oh Snap as well.

I prefer "Oh, Snap!" to "Public Access" because OS! is straight-up photos, no photos of mixed-media. You'll be happy with any book you pick up.

I like Ricky's stuff because he was there and snapped some cool shit. My fave of his is "The Rickford Files"; from cover to cover. Technical prowess is not the point here. He's a humble dude about it and doesn't even call himself a photographer.
