i live about 90 miles from punxsutawney, where they do all the goofy festivities, and i'm going to make my first trip up there. leaving tonight around 2am and will probably be back saturday afternoon. so i probably won't get any sleep tonight. should be a great time!

I love that movie more than it deserves.

That's really a pretty crappy movie. I don't know why so many people like it.

Life Aquatic?

The Man Who Knew Too Little?

The Razor's Edge?

Tale of Two Kitties?

Kingpin?

Hell, I didn't even like What About Bob?

I think Bill gets a pass so often just because he's so good. Doesn't mean his movie is.

Hell, Stripes totally falls apart.

You Guys are Nuts!

GroundsHog Day is the Joint

Even in Cigarettes & Coffee GZA and RZA say that movies LAW when they see Bill

If that movie was put to music it would be as timeless as Holy War

Every year, the Canadian Beaver tries to bust through its icy lair and everyone awaits to see if the creatures notices and is scared off by his shadow. Every year, the beaver cannot penetrate his ice cavern and dies of suffocation, and Canadians are forced to have another 6 months of winter. :(

i think he's cute and funny on SNL, but i'm not a huge bill murray fan. and i still love "groundhog day". :)

well that was some trip! there were about 30 odd thousand people on top of this little hilltop all clamoring to see them yank the rat out of the hole. they shot off fireworks at 6:30 in the morning, 7:30 they did the official thing, and by 7:45 i was walking through the ice covered woods to get down the mountain.

it was fun since we had so many people that went, but it was pretty damn cold to stand outside all morning and i doubt i'll ever do that one again.

i ended up with one good, non blurry photo (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v251/jabumbo/IMG_0884.jpg) in the lot that i took.

I have a friend in Wisconsin who gets mad every year. They have a groundhog that doesn't get enough attention ever since that movie. :p

Groundhog Day has some brilliant bits. I'm a big Harold Ramis fan. It's so good that I forget how wooden Andie McDowell is.

Stripes does fall apart in the last 20 minutes or so with the big RV plot, but it doesn't matter because the rest of the movie is so good. It's funny that Private Benjamin has the same problem and they came out at a similar time with a similar plot. And Stripes has Harold Ramis!

God, she's awful in that, and in Short Cuts, too.

How she ever was so amazing in sex, lies... is beyond me.

Her, too, apparently.
