I really don't know how this will turn out, or if it will even work, but i think it's worth a shot. I found a website that let's you create your own web-based IRC chat room. I started a BeastieMixes room today in hopes to create a better communication system between the DJ's and Listeners, or maybe a place where the DJ's can chat with each other in real-time. There is NO registration and it only takes less than a minute to get on. I spoke with Silence and he said he is okay with it. But the only problem is that everyone is in different time zones and in other parts of the world. My question is, how can we get people in the room all at once? Should there be a certain time? I don't know. Please post your ideas. But the chat IS live right now and you can get in by:
1. Go to www.mibbit.com
2. Choose a Nickname (Use your BeastieMixes DJ name or Forum name)
3. Type #beastiemixes where it says "channel"
4. Click "Connect"
