Grand Theft Auto IV

Not much details on the soundtrack for GTA IV yet but it definately will be NY influenced, as bands from NY appear on the trailers. New news is that there will be 18 radio stations featured, and that the soundtrack features brand new exclusive tracks from major artists. What do you think the chances of Beastie Boys being on the lineup are? :eek: I'm scouring the net trying find any news of the artists in the game, but my google powers are pretty weak compared to others :o

i really hope and believe they will be included in the soundtrack. The game is situated in 21 century AFAIK so all songs are possible, most probably it will be a rap joint, but i dont know would i like it to be something new from ttb5 or some old classic from PB, but then again PB wasn't made in new york right, and this is 21st century so i dont know..:rolleyes:

I would imagine a fairly hit rap track would make it in if anything. Maybe Ch-Check It Out or something. I doubt OLTNYC because the game technically takes place in the fictional "Liberty City."

GTA4 is 1/2 the reason I'm getting a 360, but thanks to the custom playlists it really doesn't matter much to me, though hearing a beastie boy track naturally in it would be insane.... and it wouldnt ridiculously censor it like in Street V3....

but yes, anyone who is a fan and works for Rockstar had to suggest looking down the barrel of a gun or car theif atleast

just found out that one station will be all hardcore, so the chances are getting even better! Then again maybe the term hardcore means something different to the kids nowadays. hmm :confused:
