My friend has kittens that he wants to give away. He said he'd give me one, but the problem is, my parents don't like pets in our house. Help me think of a persuasive argument on getting a kitten. :(

well first you go to the pet store and get a mouse and set that loose in your house. maybe a couple of mice.

then the folks will probably be on board for a kitten.

Just bring it home and then pretend you have developed some kind of psychic bond with it like ET and Elliot then tell your parents you'll die if the cat goes...

Moving out isn't an option right now. I can't afford it. However, I would like to.

Meh, they said no anyway. I guess I'll have to wait for the day to own a kitty cat. :/

SERIOUSLY. I have real problems with people not wanting to live with pets... Have they NO heart?! I mean it's not like you're askin to have 9 cats in the house, it's ONE kitten that will grow up and use it's litter box and live at peace with you in your home. .. it's really not that big a deal. Merely an ounce of additional responsibility. No I take that back, it is that big a deal, in that it's a TON of love that will come into your life packaged in fur and claws! :)

I need to move into a rented flat whilst I sort out some mortgage type stuff. I've seen a flat that a really like but they don't allow pets. I hope they only mean cats and dogs because I have two little gekkos.

Infact I think I'm going to say it's a fish tank.
