I mean jesus how good is that?...I love it…we went down to Chinatown after work last night and bought some pork and semi sweet sausage…you know from a little hole in the wall BBQ shack where all they sell is BBQ pork, sausage and duck to go…all hanging up in the steamy window’s….I could have eaten it all on it’s own gluttony style…but the better half made this….mmmmmm…..Chinese BBQ….(y)

I've had Korean BBQ but not Chinese. At the risk of sounding as ignorant as I am, is there a big difference?

I think the major difference is the sauce,in that with Chinese the flavor is based on hoison and chinese 5 spice mix where as with Korean it's soy sauce and brown sugar and ginger...and Korean is usualy prepared in front of you on a grill, which mimicks street side vendors but Chinese bbq always comes prepared on a plate...I haven't been for Korean in years, last time I did I got sick...but it's pretty tasty,I'll pass on the kimchi, thank you....

The Korean BBQ places I've been to usually have a selection of oils for you to choose from, rather than sauces. But maybe that's just California.

I ate Korean bbq and it is the sauce that is different and certain customs. But... the only thing I ate of Chinese bbq is at a Wok restaurant.
