MCA: A Fender Jazz. My favourite pedal is the Superfuzz. I've been using it since the "Licensed to Ill" times.

he also uses old school ampeg scroll bass, a green one at the shows and a red version in the studio? very
nice instruments by the way.

Okay, I've done some research. It looks like Adrock's guitar is a Gibson Melody Maker. Take a look at this:

:D

I'd like to buy the guitar that AdRock plays, but learning 6 strings? shit, I dunno. I thought one of them played a guitar that has only 3 strings? but I guess I'm wrong.

You like the feel of the bass in your face in the crowd? (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2038/2171671928_23a441e7d9_o.jpg)

other way around :)

here we go: 2004 (refer AIFST dvd) MCA played the green bass, 2007 he used the red. :-))

some additional info on MCA´s bass equipment:

vintage super fuzz pedal and a distortion pedal called "DNA bass dragger" (handmade in japan).

customized speaker and amp by ampeg: http://www.ampeg.com/roundsound/2007/06/awesome-i-can-fin-see-through.html

anything else he uses?

If you watch the gratitude video there's a pretty good view of adrocks setup and everyone elses in the band.

As we all know the man you want to see about a Les Paul Junior is the late great Johnny Thunders, the last rock n roll guitar hero who used one pretty much exlcusively until a run in with that dozy prick Dee Dee Ramone.

What guitar does Ad Rock play in the Off The Grid video? It looks like a hollow electric

"Adrock's main guitar is a Gibson Melody Maker and his backup is a custom Fender."

"MCA has three stage basses: an early 70's Fender Jazz, and two Ampeg classics- an upright baby bass and a scroller."
