Put your iPod/iTunes/iWhatever on shuffle and post the first 5 songs that come up. Don't cheat and miss out lame or embarassing songs, leaving out skits is acceptable though.
Oasis - Talk Tonight
The Sex Pistols - Pretty Vacant
Big L - Da Graveyard
Sam Cooke - Little Red Rooster
Beastie Boys - The Scenario
Awesome, they're all pretty sick songs. The quality on The Scenario's pretty balls but other than that they're all gems that I haven't heard in a while. (y)
Elite-Deftones
Electric Worm - Beastie Boys
Hailing on me -comeback kid
around the horn - the bronx
missing links - plan b

Zulu Nation - Ultramagnetic MCs
Emcees Smoke Crack - Edan
Delorean - El-P
Worth His Weight in Gold - Steel Pulse
Soul Fire - Scratch
the shuffle feature on the Zune is not good. it sticks to genres and artists waaaay to much.

it lets you get a glimpse into someones life through their music.
shadrach - beastie boys
space dementia - muse
generator - bad religion
thriller - michael jackson
girls - beastie boys
i have a lot of bad religion on there, one was bound to pop up. i don't even listen to it anymore, i just put it on there because it's good music to have in the background while studying, but by now i'm just sick of them, i always hit skip. they used to be one of my favorite bands, too

I never listen to my music on shuffle, but for this game. I think you can't appreciate an artist/band unless you hear their whole album as it was meant to be played.

no shit? most of the people i lived with as an undergraduate had heard of it. my roomate and i had a huge poster of the album art between our beds keeping watch. a lot of stuart price's music is being used in various popular adverts around this way nowadays, so i think that has increased the popularity further. before it was pretty niche but if you were into that sort of music.. an essential. great album.
i was given a new ipod for christmas but i've only put four albums on there thus far. it is 60% prince. i want my music to transfer with the album art on it and all that shite so i've been going through each song adding pictures. christ, it takes a long time.

I used to listen to that album constantly. It was best played when getting ready to go out. Hype!
Hey you what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Ahh yeah ain't that fresh
Everybody wants to get down like that

He's produced a number of tracks for Madonna lately. I heard the album probably late 99. Had a burned copy in 2000 that I lost, and then bought it again in London a couple of years later. I fucking love it still. Damaged People and Soft Machine in particular, but there are a number of other favourites (Hey You, About Funk, Brothers).

Claire, why are you adding the artwork manually? I just hit the 'get album artwork' option and it all pretty much matched (though I did get the Transamerica artwork on my Pump Up the Volume soundtrack)

maybe they thought christian slater was gender-confused ; )
i thought the get album artwork option only worked for people who had bought their tuneage from the official apple store? have you? because i certainly have not. /looks shifty.
my flatmate just said "sometimes when i'm walking along the street i have this urge to throw fag butts at children" : (

I disagree. I listen to my pod almost exclusivly on suffle. I've got 5000 songs and counting, I would never be able to listen to some of the stuff if I was listeing to a full album or two a day. The suffle is like a juxbox for your ears only. I love being suprised by a really good song I havent heard in a while. Additionally I feel the suffle keeps things fresh, songs/artists never get old.

505 - arctic monkeys
Possibly the best song of 2007. (y)
Bent - stay the same
Dusty Springfield - I Don't Want To Hear It Anymore
m-flo - MISS YOU
The Knife - Handy Man (Revl9n Remix)
Bjork - Unravel
Reminds me that I have to take that Knife album off of my zune. I don't like any of those tracks on that single. I really like that Bent album though. This seems underrated! So is alot of the Les Rhythmes Digitales stuff. He pretty much started the 80's/electroclash revival... trend... thing.
I'm pretty gay for m-flo too. For those of you who bought the Teriyaki Boyz album, the vocalist for m-flo is one of the 5 collaborators.
I find if I shuffle albums instead of songs I get better results but it played 2 songs from Midnite Vultures in a row today.
