Two senior staff in two days...

From CNN (http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/02/12/clintons-deputy-campaign-manager-resigns/):

Clinton's deputy campaign manager resigns
Posted: 09:07 PM ET

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Hillary Clinton's deputy campaign manager has resigned, her campaign confirmed Tuesday night as the New York
senator faced another round of disappointing primary results.

Mike Henry is the second senior staff-level departure from the Clinton team in the past three days. He was hired by Patti Solis Doyle —
Clinton's former campaign manager — whose resignation was revealed Sunday.

"As someone who has managed campaigns, I share the unique understanding of the challenges that the campaign will face over the
next several weeks," Henry said in a Tuesday e-mail to Clinton staffers.

"Our campaign needs to move quickly to build a new leadership team, support them and their decisions and make the necessary
adjustments to achieve the winning outcome for which we have all worked so hard for over a year now."

One must never bank that over-exposure and years of hard work will make your personality change. It is an image problem more than a qualified problem. She does not admit to fault very well.

She did not make some of the right choices in her career to move us as US citizens ahead. The big item most pundits and supporters grasp onto is her universal health care plan. Hey I think thats fine, I also think her plan is better than Barack's, The other dynamic is this...Hillary Clinton pushed a universal health plan to the American people in 1993, it failed. The whole "HillyCare (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1993_Clinton_health_care_plan)" debacle is an unfortunate situation that I honestly believe had more to do with personality than principle.

That is sad, but true of many of Senator Clinton's problems now. She really is a tireless campaigner and for the most part a human who genuinely tries to put the best interests of her constituents forward, it's just in 2008 millions of voters are wanting a different style of leadership. I myself included.

no, it ultimately failed to pass, as did mitchell's compromise proposal in the senate. if my memory serves me correctly, the democrats had a majority in the house of representatives, but a slight majority in the senate, just before the '94 republican sweep. i'm sure though that the dems wouldn't have had any problems establishing universal healthcare in fdr's or lbj's time. what also didn't help was the multi-million dollar campaign waged against universal healthcare, and against the clintons, by the american medical association, the republican party, private health insurance companies, the pharmaceutical industry, and other conservative groups.

Perhaps Mitchell's compromise proposal would never of happened if a different leader had ownership in 1993, this is what I'm saying. The fact (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1071282345763305512&q=Harry+and+Louise&total=391&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=2)that drug companies and HMO's sponsored a campaign that could not be exposed by Hillary nor a concerted effort of her supporters just re-enforces my belief that a leadership defect is ingrained in the Clinton agenda.

Which I attribute to personality.

completely agreed, except for the personality part. perhaps she just lacked the brains, backbone, and political savy, skill or will.
