Nah, not for me. Shit's disgusting. Refried beans or black beans and rice only. I can't fuck with anything else. I attribute this to the movie TOMMY.

black beans and rice is a cheap, healthy, filling meal, but it's boring as shit. what can you add to it to make it better?

Cuban style steak with grilled onions and a hint of lime. Just a lil' somethin'.

Really though, chopped bell peppers and onions. Simple but effective.

vodka is so a vegetable! it's made from potatoes.
i heard recently that potatoes cannot be considered as one of your five a day tho.
this information is largely intended for the legions of people in this country
who eat chips with everything--even pasta !

i love baked beans on sweet potato with a salad...
that was my dinner last night in fact.

I'm off potatoes entirely. South Beach Diet 'n shit. No taters, no white flour.

I'm on a no white diet myself. Have been for some time now. It works. But I crave bread like there's no tomorrow. Sweet potatoes took care of my tater crave, but I'd really like to find something to take care of my white bread jones.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that baked beans are my friend.

White bread itself I don't miss, as I never ate it anyway. What's killing me is, like, no croissants, no pain au chocolat, no muffins, no brioche, no bagels - all the breakfasty baked goods, basically. But yeah, the fact that I'm seeing results is incentive enough for me to keep walking away from them.

ooohhh.....where are you seeing them? Weight loss? Toning up? Are you just excluding the carbs or working out as well?

Beans, Beans,
Good for your heart...
