It tastes about as good as it sounds.
To be more specific, just imagine that someone managed to liquefy a pound of tootsie rolls into 12oz of carbonated beverage and added some maraschino cherry juice to it.
The aftertaste is pretty harsh. It's the boldness of the fake chocolate flavor sticking to your tongue. No delicious cherri-ness whatsoever. I figured if I drank it with ice that it might somehow water down that kick to a certain degree.
The end result was that during the process of finishing it off, I felt the ice on my lips and realized that I was drinking a chocolate carbonated beverage. Ice and chocolate just don't seem to work together. Neither do chocolate and carbonation.
I can't say I'd recommend this to anyone but folks who maybe try energy drinks just for kicks. *raises hand* Or if you just want something unique. But look in the box... there's a reason it's only available for a limited time.
Watch this video while you drink it. It'll help. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2x2W12A8Qow)
