I love that sort of thing. The person's probably very satisfied that they "fixed" your office and now everything's where it "should" be.

Hell, it's bad enough for me when I clean up after myself and can't find anything for a week.

This was actually something I had to do at one of my previous jobs at the end of the week for 4 different desks, and I never understood it because come Monday morning they were all asking me where everything was. Slobs.

the guy who used to use the desk i am at now has tons of papers that i have no idea how he kept anything organized. i really wish i could just move/get a new computer at the desk that i was given when i started because then i'd at least have my own space to cover with all my files and such

Before I left my last job, I had the woman come in for a couple of weeks training her, and part of it was renaming files. Like, "How would
you think to look for this?" So the transition was pretty smooth. I've only gotten two questions via e-mail since I've been here.
