I've never heard of them, but I can tell you with all confidence that no, it would not be worth it.

Yuck. :(

Don't pay money to see a tribute band. Usually never worth it even if it's free.

At least Lez Zeppelin is a better name that Led Zepagain.

Led Blimpie!! (http://www.myspace.com/ledblimpie)

their premise is great. "We play Zeppelin, not dress-up."

they are the anti-Zeppelin tribute band. a bunch of fat dudes making great music with no image... check them out if you are in NYC... they play free shows and take requests, they once played Led Zeppelin II in its entirety on request.

Haha. Led Blimpie.

When I started playing guitar I wanted to have an all female led zeppelin tribute band where I was Jimmy. I wanted to wear the black suit with the flared collar cut down to my belly button.

Sadly, I am not an untapped guitar prodigy like I was hoping.

Maybe if I played more...

well, i went to it last night. one of my friends was really excited about it so i couldnt say no. plus, i hadnt seen a show in a while, and i couldnt resist seeing a few decent looking ladies on stage.

it was reasonable i thought. they played the first album all through, then a handful of the standards. i mean, i could obviously critique them if i wanted, but i wasn't expecting the mirror image, so i was satisfied in the end.

while the guitarist lacked somewhat on the solo sections, she helped make it up with the leather pants and excellent frizzed out hair (y)
