After tiresome posting of the adds in craigslist for either me singing in an existing band or to find a drummer and a bassist to kick Bivouac off.
I checked this one band out that needs a singer. Amazing and gripping music they have displayed. I dropped them a line and told them that I really dig their stuff. They said my shit kicks ass too.
Only thing is, our work/availability schedules aren't compatible, not just that, they live in Upstate and I don't have a car yet and don't plan on gettin one till the end of March, when I completely move to Jersey. They said they can pick me up at the station but still, I've gotta think realistic. I'll have to cut out on work early to make practice. I ain't no rockstar yet so I've gotta maintain my job.
But, I got a drummer who responded to my add. Great things, his schedule is completely compatible with mine. He said he's looking to jump into my project. Also, he's within my limits.
For now, we're gonna have to rent out a studio to jam but as soon as I move in the house, we're gonna jam right in the basement.
I tell ya, drummers aren't easy at all to find, especially ones with the same working schedule as you. He said he's somewhat of an ametuer but that's no problem, you can only get better if you keep on jamming. Not just that, I know how to slap the skins a little so, I can help him out.
Now it's time to snatch a bassist.
