The ladies from work wanted to take me out for my 21st. So we went out for Japanese food and afterward, to this Irish bar me and my sister frequent. The atmosphere in there is really nice, clean, sky's the limit as far as beverages are concerned... But they weren't diggin' the music, and it was suggested we go to this club called "Flashbacks" (I think it may be a chain???)

Can I just tell you? Fucking gross. The music was fun, and I was proud of myself for having enough liquid courage to get out on the dancefloor, but DAMN! Is it a given when you're out there, men don't understand giving a woman her "space" and insist on grinding into your ass? Aren't you supposed to make eye contact first or something? (Haha..)

The place was full of skanks, so maybe they thought my ass to be a classy one

OH, and then this guy (I guess he regularly goes there) was, like, in his 60s and kept insisting he buy me a shot. He was dressed like a cowboy.

Ewugh!

Man, just take a free shot. Free drinks are free drinks!

I envy women. Y'all can go to a bar and get free drinks all night and still go home by yourself if that's what you're after. Nobody's buying me drinks at the bar unless my buddy decides to have a round on himself. You lucky bums.

Who said I went home alone? ;")

idk... I declined because I didn't want to make him think he had some sort of advantage. He was in his 60s! And was dressed like a cowboy! And it wasn't as if he had asked my friends to buy them a shot, too.

Since I've turned 21, guys have offered to buy me shots and I've accepted. But this guy was gross. I know that's superficial and mean, but I've come to realize I can do better than men my dad's age.

Remember: Guys never talk about going to a bar and seeing bullgirls.

Ugh, clubs. They suck. I don't even care for bars anymore. They are all the same after going to them so many times.

it is absolutely a given.
The place was full of skanks
that's almost every club though.

welcome to the club world.

The auto-grinding on the ass is a given, almost everywhere. But I make it a point to find the places where people actually go to drink & dance and just have a good time vs. meat markets. They exist, it just may take a little eblow grease to find the places first.
