and our old wooden toboggan was way to heavy to drag up the hill unless my dad was there and could do it for me. but that thing was a definite thing of canadian beauty.

remember on the sesame street credits in the 80s they had that footage of summer time tobogganning/luge. fuck, I wanted to do that so bad.

These are death traps for 5 year olds. But, I used to go down them in High School and they're still there, despite the modernization of the rest of the playground. There must be one hell of an insurance premium.
