HOLY SHIT, RICIN TOXIN FOUND IN LAS VEGAS MOTEL ROOM (http://uk.reuters.com/article/worldNews/idUKN2917356120080229)

LAS VEGAS (Reuters) - An unidentified man is in critical condition with suspected ricin poisoning after staying in a Las Vegas hotel room where the potentially deadly substance was found, police said on Friday.

The FBI said the incident was not thought to be terrorism related.

Police said the man, who they did not name, had last occupied the room two weeks ago and was taken to a local hospital on February 14 when he complained of breathing difficulties.

A suspicious substance, which tests have confirmed to be ricin, was found in the sick man's room on Thursday after a relative or friend went to the hotel to collect his possessions, Las Vegas deputy police chief Kathy Suey told a news conference.

No one else has reported symptoms and it was not clear where the ricin came from, or what is was doing in the room at the Extended Stay America Hotel in Las Vegas.

Suey said the sick man, in his 40s, "is in critical condition and he is unable to speak with us right now. We have no indication why the ricin was in that room."

Suey said castor beans, the basis for making ricin, were found in the hotel on Thursday and that the ricin was found in vials in the room.

So here's the great part, being I live in Las Vegas I can provide you humble readers with the "sinside" scoop.

So Vegas is known for burying stories and news reports period that could effect tourism. Casino suicides and robberies are NEVER EVER REPORTED, period. My girlfriend's mother works at the Palms and has recounted several robberies, suicides, and accidental deaths and not one of them hit the news. If a story got alot of public traction without MSM then it would be buried in the back of the paper and that's it.

So last night they started announcing that they found a small vial of ricin in a motel (and one frequented by drug dealers, vagrants, and prositutes)here in Vegas and several people were hospitalised but in stable condition and the area was secured. They mentioned that the FBI and Homeland Security agencies were involved but it was not being called a terrorist incident.

So the truth is, via a coworkers friend who works in the area hospital these people were taken to is much more shocking.

One, this is a terror incident. They found a large cache of weapons, explosives, ect. and an unholy ammount of Ricin. Enough to poison and kill every casino visitor on the strip if it was say placed in the air conditioning system which considering it's light powder form would not be difficult.

Second, the original resident of the room has been in a coma for roughly 2 weeks and it's thought that if he wasn't the city would have been attacked already.

Third, as many as 6 people were hospitalised and they are not going to recover as the media mentioned last night. They're expected to die sometime this week. It also seems they have detained an entire terrorist cell via overheard communications from FBI and HS agents in the locked down hospital.

This really bothers me, in a country were questionable terror alerts sent the country into panic mode a very real threat existed and because it might hurt tourism we were all put at risk.

I'm sure if the Ricin got out it would have made the news....masses of sick and deaths would be very difficult to play off. What may also take into effect is the fact the bush's admin has been touting that they have been keeping America safe since 9/11 since they implemented multiple facets of domestic "intelligence" gathering, increased and invasive security practices at airports, and went to war to "Fight them over here so we don't have to fight them here". So keeping this quiet will keep that legacy alive.

Not sure who are the suspects of this and what connection they have, maybe that will be disseminated soon but I'm sure some people have opted out from visiting since this report has come through.

Have you checked out the Shock Doctrine? According to it disaster makes change, with so many things sinking in this country fear might very well be a "cure"
