Should you pose a question and then immediately answer it yourself?
I say go for it!

Yeah it should be released! I remember I had my stereo hooked up to the TV, and I recorded the whole thing on cassette...wow.

^^Yeah I did the same thing.
I like that show, but perhaps another idea would be a bunch of random performances in a DVD package. I remember recording audio of the Reading 98 set (2 hours I think), and there is a performance of Slow and Low from there which I can only describe as fucking sick. To see that from the stage cams would be awesome. Awesome to the max. And of course any old footage from the Building in 91, Country Club in 89, and all over the shop. Not necessarily chronological in terms of the songs, but in terms of performances like the Zep DVD. 2 to 3 (hahaha pushing it now) discs.

Consider that O-Scope has absolutely no rights to that footage. It belongs to MTV.
My sincere suggestion is to not get your hopes up. Besides, if they're going to do a DVD, I'd rather it be of something I hadn't seen a thousand times.
Furthermore, I got that shit on VHS, holla.

Yeah I've seen the Glasgow show too many times for it to be the show to put on DVD.

word. mtv owns it and they are notorious for being unbelievable jag-offs when it comes to acquiring rights to their material. it is a dope show though. regardless of how many times I've seen it, it'd be nice to have an official documentation of it released.

That's Solid-Gold Hits thinking. We need to set them standards high.
