Do you sometimes feel trapped in the 4/4 beat?
Snares on the 5 & 13 not doin'it for you?

Well I'm here to tell you there's something else...
No, not the afterlife.

Get jazzy and break that mold.

Just like leap year, sometimes you gotta throw in an extra beat.
We're gonna bring you up to speed. Check it out.

Thanks, yeah I'm undecided about that beat. Sometimes the lyrics sound cool and syncopated to me, and sometimes they just sound butchered. It may be directly related to which psychoactive substances are running through my brain.

Apparently we listened to a lot of the same stuff growing up. You mix a lot of the artists that I listened to growing up. You follow your own path, which is what I like about your mixes the most. Here are some bands that I always thought were the shit:

Consolidated (Play More Music)
MC 900 Ft. Jesus (Hell With The Lid Off)
Ministry
Front 242
The Waterboys (Fisherman's Blues)
Meat Beat Manifesto
Love And Rockets
Violent Femmes (3)
William S. Burroughs (spoken word)
Beats International
Prong

I like your style!

I should say that the Pouges mixes are nice

Thanks,
It's strange how all these old bands are being brought back into the forefrontal lobe.
I credit the magic of the interwebs!
Diving into the blogosphere is like bumping into all those old highschool friends you never had, I remember being shocked that someother somewhere knew about Front 242, let alone posted them.
Now it seems near normal. Or as normal as someone knowing who Bob Seeger is since they have never, and will never, stop playing that crap 24-7 on classicrockrobotmegamedia stations.
Yeah I own (or owned at some point) MC 900 ft. Jesus, Ministry (who's touring), Front 242, Waterboys, Meat Beat, Femmes, and Burroughs (if you count a ragtag, stained, paperback Naked Lunch).
