I'm mulling over buying a Gibson for my next bass. Won't be for a while, but both the Thunderbird IV and SG Bass Standard Faded are looking pretty good to me right now.

yeah, that one is the mark knopfler one. sadly its like $2,200 and i will never have it....

waiting to hear back about a tom delonge strat i found on craigslist. trying to keep my price real low but everything that is cheap really sucks

its just the price. they are asking half as much as any other person, and it comes with the amp. still waiting on the details. if it is what i think though, the price is pretty great.


the whole artist signature thing doesn't really phase me much, though. as long as it has a nice solid tone to it i will be happy.

What kind of amp?

Problem is you only get one tone with the Delonge because it only has the one pickup. It might be a decent tone, I don't know I've never played one.

15 watt crate amp was the combo.

but just got an email this morning saying its a squier. so basically i can get the same thing in another color for half the price from someone else if i wanted.

Every time I'm in London my friends have coffee bean grinders and I sooo totally enjoy the coffee more!
But I haven't found here these small ones yet, they're always huge and very expensive... so I started searching and found this beauty

Does anyone have any experience on it? The Braun one got bad reviews for cleaning, otherwise it sounded good as well,
but this one looks even better.
Funny thing, today while shopping for groceries they had an offer that if you bought two bags of coffee beans you got a coffee grinder for free. It looks just like this one, but it's Bosch. Gonna try it tomorrow morning! :D
