Every time I'm in London my friends have coffee bean grinders and I sooo totally enjoy the coffee more!

Yup. It was at a record store/guitar shop I worked for. One of the guys had taken it in on trade toward an effects pedal, but he hardly gave
the dude anything for it, so I scooped it up.

Used that thing for years. My band recorded with it a bunch, too. (y) Never even had to replace the cartridge.

drederick - you make a good point. i want a dutch style bike (i like that higher vantage point for traffic etc) but perhaps i should get one made by the actual dutch. plus i just heard with more research that electra recalled that particular bike as the chain guard was causing the chains to detach (!!)

I painted mine bright green with glitters though, so it's easily recognisable between the millions of others and won't get stolen so easily.
I bought it 2ns hand for 85 euro's. You can get a brand new one from about 150 euros, but than the quality isn't super and the peddals arn't as good.

You should definitely go! I can't remember much of it tbh, but it was a lot of historical references, like he always does, and the end he just keeps going on about a Jazz chicken. :D
Anyhoo, I really enjoyed it. It's cool to see someone like that playing outside of the UK in your own li'l country. And the show's quite long too, so it's worth the money.

Just thought he retrod over a lot of old ground. He hasn't toured for 7 or so years, and so I expected something a bit different, but only about 10% of it was new material. I'm not even bothering buying the DVD it disappointed me that much.

Still though - free booze and mingling is worth it.
