R.I.P. Teo Macero

Teo was pretty much Miles Davis' co-collaborator on my favorite run of Miles albums: In a Silent Way, On the Corner, A Tribute to Jack Johnson,
Get Up with It... Not only did he introduce the wah wah pedal and tons of studio effects to Miles, he shaped the band's jams into something
more like compositions. That shit was gold.

Aww. Teo + Miles = one brilliant whole. They're obviously brilliant on their own terms, but it was something else completely when they teamed up.

Teo was prolific as hell, too. I didn't realize he did as much producing as he actually did.
