The Beastie Boys are going to drop one new track on us Tuesday night in NYC. I've just got a feeling. Kinda like when the debuted That's It That's All.

We'll see if I'm right. If I am. I want a cookie. Oatmeal Raisin bitch.

doubt it. they haven't been working on this album that long. I doubt they even have either lyrics, or beats, together at this time.

They dropped That's It, That's All live about 13 months before TT5B came out. Highly possible, imo. I also heard from a friend, who heard from a friend, who heard from a friend of the bboys. He said that the bboys are working hard on something special for this show. (y)

Maybe it's B-Boy Bouillaibiasse, or better yet the entire PB album in it's entirety ala Dark Side of the Moon?
That would entail a lot of work to pull off live.

I really bugged out when I heard that for the first time, it was a bit underwhelming on the album.

We owe you a cookie young man. Three new tracks:

a) Technical Difficulties
b) Calling It in
c) I'd Rather be anywhere, but here. (Yauch solo)

$100 was money well spent.

I'm sure the official setlist will be posted soon. But they opened with Root Down, Flute Loop, and Sure Shot. It was a pretty standard setlist with the exception of Rhymin' and Stealin. That was my personal highlight.

During the second instrumental, Remote Control...that's where the technical difficulties came in. Adrock's guitar had some issues. They replaced some wires, then the amp, then realized it was his actual guitar. That whole ordeal took about 5 minutes. Once they got that figured out...Mike f'd up his second verse so they stopped at restarted the second verse for him.

The sound quality was poor from my vantage point.

One funny part was during ChCheck it Out. Someone made a Watch the Finger poster. Mike was naked...only wearing a bagel. The guys had the poster passed up front and liked it. I'm sure some pics will surface of it.

It was a fun night. The guys enjoyed themselves but it was clearly a rehearsal for the festival gigs coming up.
