that makes me wanna ice skate. i can roller skate extremely well. i've always wondered if that translates to ice skates.

i actually had a dream i ice skated a few nights ago.

Roller skating is much closer to ice skating, I'd say. I've done both of those but liked ice skating better.

God -- I haven't thought about that roller skating rink in eons... we used to go there in elementary school and junior high. Skating with girls,
trying not to get sweaty palms... If you already had a steady girlfriend you were lucky, because you didn't have to go through the stomach-
churning ritual of trying to figure out who you could ask...

i LOVE to roller skate! it's something i've always done. the thing i immediately think about when i think of the skating rink is the smell of the roll on floor and the fast skates that only a few of us could handle!

I never got good at skating backwards, ice or roller skating. I'd be pretty jealous of people who could do that.

skating backwards is the most fun! it took me a long time to learn that though.

my brother played semi pro ice hockey. he can skate on inlines really good too. a few months ago we went to an open skate together and we chased each other and played tag all night. it was so fun! like we were kids again. it's so weird how we share that same talent for roller skating. my parents say that my grandfather was pretty good at it. maybe we inherited it!

inline skates translate pretty well to the ice. i dont really know about roller skates though.
