Do you think if I left the little envelope in my wipers they'd ticket me less?

I don't work at my full-time job anymore, and daytime parking at home is costing me more than gas for stupid infringements.

ive left it in the wipers before. didnt work, got three more tickets in one day. not worth it. i would suggest, to ease your own stress of having to deal with it (1), for your own financial benefit (2), and most of all, (3) to stop giving money to cops, that you just park "legally" or take the bus.

Thing of it is that I am parked as legally as I can. They put up a sign when I didn't leave the house for a couple days and ticketed me. They ticketed me because I haven't had the time to drill holes in my front bumper and put on the front license plate (thanks a lot town hall for mentioning that to me when I moved here).

They ticket me when it's a certain time of the week (3-5 Tuesdays) all this crap because I have to keep my car here during the day now.

I hate it.

I just got a letter saying an infringement I never knew I had doubled for failing to pay it.

Go figure.

you could try and fight em' if you really think you'd be able to prove your case

i live in a permit parking area, and the one day i was sick and stayed home from work i ended up getting a ticket. but i guess now i know that they come by my street around 12-1pm every day so if im going to be around then, ill just move my car somewhere else.

i can't wait to move to a house where i have my own parking spot

i once asked a bike cop what happens if a ticket gets taken or blows away,
he said they would send you a notice when the fine doubled. (y)

they have a real racket going here too, i got a ticket the other day because the
meter broke sometime during the day, after i had paid. so it took me three or
four phone calls and a trip to the police station, but i got it revoked.

still, i figure the economic cost of the time i lost dealing with their bullshit,
time i could have been say, working, equals out to about 25 bucks. plus gas.

edit: i'm pretty sure the cop who gave me the ticket sabotaged the parking meter
