thats kind fo fucked up right? i remember back in school someone printed out all these "toiletcam in use" and put them on the backside off all the bathroom stalls. i thought that was funny for some reason. brilliant!!

I have no problem with security cameras.

Some people in San José are getting uppity because cameras were installed in this one area downtown where drug dealers used to hang out.

I'm thinking, it's a public area. If it were cops, there'd be no complaint, so why not police cameras? I don't get it.

People have a fucked up sense of "privacy" sometimes and get very paranoid for no reason.

its not the security cameras themselves that bother me, its the idea of control that motivates people to think they have to know everything. if its a situation like the drug area you mentioned above, i see the need for that. but walk around london and that shit freaks me out. the cameras dont make me feel "safer", i guess if i got mugged, and the dude was caught because of the camera, then id be greatful.
