Okay. So.
You have leftover pizza.
Are you more likely to reheat it or eat it cold?
This is a very important thread.

i am more likely to reheat. i cannot abide cold food.
my flatmate on occasion used to do something i find particularly foul but other people wouldn't even sniff at. he would empty a whole can of cold baked beans (i have a particular fear of cold baked beans) into a plastic container (the kind you receive take-out curries in) and then grate seriously a good few inches of the cheapest, nastiest, 'yellow' cheese on top and eat it COLD. COOOLLDDD! COLD BEANS AND GRATED CHEESE! AGGHH!
it makes my teeth itch.

reheat! with LOTS of shake cheese.

I always eat it cold. I like the way the cheese goes all hard and congealed :D
That's funny about the beans Nastee. I'm not a fan of cold beans either but my dad is a huge fan and he has to eat them straight from the tin :/
I also eat leftover vegetables cold - in particular mashed potatoes and sprouts!

The beans story is gross.
I reheat pizza probably 70% of the time. But, like Yorkshire Rose, I also like it when everything's all congealed.
Plus it seems like reheated pizza has a short half-life. If you don't eat it fast, the texture starts to go wonky.

i'm not a big leftover fan in general. if i take something home, it's a 90% chance i'll let it go bad. pizza is about the only thing i eat leftover.

What about leftover Chinese food?

nope. it just sits there in the fridge until matt eats it or it goes bad. i will eat left over pasta, most of the time.

yes, it is, indeed, gross. he is gross. scott, you are gross. GROSS! bah, he can't hear me.
i can only eat beans if they are en masse in one particular area in a safe insulating UNIT. i cannot have stray beans migrating to another part of the plate. this makes them go cold almost instantly. if i want beans and toast, i heat them until they are practically mushy and then dump them on the just-popped toast IN A FLASH. it's like fucking ready steady cook here.
the physics of reheated pizza. hmmm. what sucks more, the base going all tough and cardboardy or the topping getting so hot and liquified it goes all soggy?

I'll re-heat it but only enough to warm it not melt the cheese again....also if it's leftover like only a few hours old no need to re-heat

Eat it cold. Nothing better than cold pizza in the morning for breakfast.

Oops. This should've been in the cooking section, I guess. Technically.

I always reheat in the oven with feta cheese added to it. no matter the type of pizza I always add extra feta when reheating.
or I use the toaster oven at work. prrrrrr.
I would easily be 10 pounds lighter if i just gave up feta.

i tried switching to low-fat feta recently.
it sucked. you can't recreate the same texture.
There is never leftover pizza when I'm around. I might not be built like a brick shit house but there's always room for pizza (y)

Does any low-fat cheese taste good?
Hell, I'd rather just have cottage cheese.
It's a scientific fact (maybe, but who knows) that you can't scrimp on cheese. Cheap cheese is craptastic.

I've actually had pizza with no cheese before. (A friend's then-fiancee has allergies.) It was surprisingly good.

I know, whenever there is free food around here I eat like I've never seen food before. Just today at lunch I ate 4 of those pinwheel pastry bread/cheese things because they were free in the break room. 4!!!
They're made of like lard and butter. And cheese I guess.
Edit: I feel fat and disgusting.

Oh my god what the hell is wrong with you people?
Cold morning-after pizza is one of the few innocent joys in this world and you sick freaks are trying to take that away???
Mmm, cold hard crust. DELICIOUS!
No, thank you. I heat mine up to where the edges and crust are hot. 20 seconds. Perfect.
Also, fuck beans.

I let it get cold before I eat it....
1) Less messy
2) No burnt tongue
3) No stringy cheese to deal with

Re-heat in conventional oven in tin foil thus slices retain moisture and flavor as opposed to reshuffling molecules in microwave resulting in gummy wedges of goop...

I think it depends on the kind of pizza, too. Like, to me, a sweeter tasting pizza (Hawaiian) tastes better cold than something like, say,
a sausage pizza.

Reese's Pizzas.
Wait I'm quotable again?! The magic is back.
The only time fruit will ever be good on a pizza is if it's pineapple with ham. For some reason it's the perfect match. I used to only eat baked ham for Thanksgiving, which had pineapple slices on it, when I was a wee lad so maybe I have a fondness for the combination. Don't knock it til you try it. I promise it's better than beans.
except black beans and rice. it's pretty awesome too
