i don't think it's creepy. sometimes it's a good way to keep up with friends that you wouldn't normally talk a lot to. people have neat ideas for blogs too and i like exploring them.

my blog is a dream blog. i try to document my crazy dreams and then try to analyze them. i think stuff like that is neat.

if blogs are not private, i don't see why anyone wouldn't want them to be read by others.

i want to sign up with vox purely because there is a community there i'd be interested in sharing information/views with, but that has a theme. it's not about me per se.

p.s. the teeth falling out dream is really common among young adults! i have it quite frequently. it's about body image and self-consciousness and all that shite, apparently.

Family members seem to be the only ones that are interested in seeing my posts in there, most people just come to the site for the mixes and aren't concerned with my life, and that's fine..

I do this all the time... :-) I frequently burn 15-20 cd's with tracks from my site, and hand them out to the guys I know at work.

I have one but you guys can't see it, because it's within the virtual education community I work in and it can only be seen by the kids and other teachery types in the program. I kind of have to keep it - we ask the kids to do it and we can't ask them to do things we won't do ourselves. But I don't mind; it's just that I have to remember to self-censor sometimes, since clearly there are things it would be inappropriate for me to put somewhere that is accessible to my students.

hrmm. the theme is feminism / sexuality / gender / body image / all that 'shite' people so helpfully :rolleyes: place under a generic title.

yeah, boring shit to some people but interesting to me. civil liberties woot.

my life in general is not interesting. i don't feel the need to broadcast it to very many people. that's not to say that a lot of people don't have this quality. they do. me, i wake up, go to work, eat and sleep.

i do, however, find the concept of writing little 'essay' like topics on things really stimulating. it's more of a project. it's not about me, it's about sharing thoughts with this community. even if some people choose to go down the you-are-a-dykey-snarky-motherfucker labelling path. ha.

it is galvanising and enraging all at the same time. which is great and exactly what i want.

this is what blogs should be. when i'm happy with you lot galvanising and enraging me more than i'm used to, maybe i'll make it a public blog instead of a private group one ; )
