you and i forever and ever etc.
Home and Away is the best and the worst show ever.
The missus watches religiously (she even watched it 1 hour after giving birth at home on Sky+!) which means i do.
I am hooked now.. the storylines are so unbelievable yet gripping and the acting is so bad and sally fletchers chest is so intriuiging (oh and yes i have seen that video that may or may not be her).
Its just the way that there is always complete calamity and then hey its all ok.
Like todays episode, cassie found out that her fella was HIV+ and that she was and her unborn child might have it. She runs into the street gets knocked down by a car and then in a split second she's in a hospital bed all cleaned up with tubes in. Its a mile a minute - its fuckin great. The best was when Alf practically died a few years back and went round the bay as a ghost. Genius.

What is this Home and Away you speak of? There seem to be a dearth of non-reality trashy shows on American TV these days.
Though, if you're looking for one that's ridiculous, may I recommend Nip/Tuck?

no, no, best bits are:
Shane and Angel's wedding, where Shane carried the (then) crippled Angel down the aisle
Shane's death then Angel being rescued during a thunderstorm by his motorbike riding ghost
Ailsa (sp?) being killed by a speedboat and then haunting Bobby's fridge
The first time the school was destroyed (pretty much an annual occurance now, it's like Lasseter's in Neighbours)
that era was just gold

YES I AM - we've had home and away and neighbours for about 20 years as well as stuff like Prisoner Cell block H and the Young doctors and Sons and daughters before that.

YES! i stopped watching when i came to uni. it was all about the neighbours as an undergraduate. the australians over here studying horrified us when they said it was on some shitty neglected network over there. karl kennedy does tours of pubs and uni unions constantly. the man is a legend.
i remember in home and away when don fisher's house burned down and he pulled out all the ACTING STOPS when looking through his charred photo album. ahhh. don.
i loved shannon going all nutbar psycho lady over shane. that was great. where is dieter brummer right now?* i remember reading in a YOOF magazine that his favourite snack was cinnamon on toast. THE FUCK?! how do we retain this useless information?
*wikipedia reveals he is now a window cleaner.

I can't believe they replaced the best comedy of all time with the WORST comedy of all time.
Friends is stupid simple cliche comedy that appeals to fat stupid simple americans.
I hate friends.

To say I'm upset and angry is an understatement. If I was a terrorist I would have driven a car bomb into ch 10 by now.
Alf's combover is the stuff of early evening tv legend.

THE FISH! ahahaha
And Pippa! The original one.
If you don't know what Flamin' is in reference to, get thee some vintage H&A fast.
Also, Channel 10 taking The Simpsons off means I don't know when 6pm is anymore. Seriously disorienting.
