Hey go check out my new 20 track mixtape called
Beck and Adam and Adam and Mike - The Enchanting Wizards of Rhythm
It all Beck stuff mashed and mixed with Beastie Boys joints.
It's got some rare and unreleased beastie cuts like 'Your Sister Def' and 'Netty's Gril'.
I also threw in some guest features like Kool Keith, The Police, Tweet, Noetec Collective, Timberland, Magoo, Missy, Pharrall, Junior Senior, Gorillaz, Micheal Jackson, ACDC, Chuck D and Flight of the Concords!

Hey Scooby! Nice work, man. BUT, why is it that all of the pellas are off beat in your mixing? I'm sure that you have a certain idea behind this, but i think not everyone is gonna appreciate it :o Sync the pellas with the beat and i'm your biggest fan.

Ya, I don't know I really am trying to sync, beatmap, match bpms and all that. I guess I just don't have the ear for it yet and/or ever.
I use Sony Acid Pro 6 to mix and did beatmap deal for most every track on that Beck mixtape and tried to match it with an approprate Beastie acapella bmp wise.
Well, I though I was getting better, but your mixes sound better than mine so... I'll keep trying.
Anywho, thanks for the listen, take them for what they are I guess which is art not music (at this point), and happy mixing!

Scooby's probably one of the bravest mixers in the BB remix scene, he's mixes stuff nobody ever thought of before.. Every time he uploads a bunch of tracks I always have to go into the database and ad songs to the list I never thought anyone would remix..

Remixing is so fun, and when I get a theme in my mind sometimes I mash the songs based more on concept them on bpms.
For exmaple if Beck has a song called Girl and the Beasties have Girls, then I'm gonna try and put them together. Beastie Boys Mullet Head w/ Becks Devils Haircut, etc.

My question and/or challenge to you BeastieMixers is why hasn't someone (someone with more skillz than me) ripped the acapellas of every Beasties track ever and posted them with S7 so we can all start mixing new acapellas?
Even if they are DIY acapellas if would be fun! I've read there are ways to do this (with a program called Music Morpher Gold for example), so... one of you badasses please rip us some acapellas!

in all honesty, we probably have one of the biggest bases of acapellas officially relelased. I have some DIY's, but trust me, its not worth it. Some like fruit loop are, but I think thats up. But yeah.... as soon as the new release comes im sure we'll be well equipped.

From what I understand, they'll be rhyming on the next album, I hope we get hooked up like last time, You guys have all but worn out the current pellas.

And even at that, I'm still surprised by tracks almost daily..

I assume you me Flute Loop, and can I get that from ya? or can you give it to S7 to add to his pella page (it's not currently avaible for dl there).

Thanks, I would love to see a list of any other DIY pellas you have as well.

I made some DIY's for Brand New, Deal With It, Believe Me, a while back. They sound pretty raw/rough but I'll have to pass them to S7 to see if he thinks there worth adding to the pella page.
