Any Photoshop Elements users out there?

I hate the lite versions of programs. They try to make it easier by stripping it down but they really end up making it harder to freaking do anything.

I need to feather a selection and I make the selection, type in my feather radius and...

nothing happens.

Why? I looked in the Adobe help and it told me to do exactly what I am doing which is. not. working.

Screw this, I'm going to the computer downstairs that has CS2.

are you using:

Select>>>>>>>>>dropdown menu>>>>>feather?

I tried that and using the rectangular marqee tool from the toolbar and typing a feather radius in and hitting enter. Neither is working and the with CS2 is in use.

Oh well, it would have looked nice but I don't really need it.
