Looking for Adrock's Hat

Adam has been sporting this pretty sweet hat recently (or at least he did at Terminal 5) and ever since then i've been looking for it.

I've searched on at least 20-25 online hat stores but to no avail. I can't find anything like it anywhere! The closest I have come is this one (http://www.dadshats.com/dobgolcoacda2.html) which looks to be exactly the same, except the band is thin and brown, not thick and black. And then there's this one (http://www.amazon.com/Bailey-Masoner/dp/B0015Z85TC/ref=sr_1_116?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1205893015&sr=1-116) which is sort of similar except the straw has a different style weave.

Anybody have any ideas where it can be found? I want one for my own head!

You might also want to get a lantern since most cemeteries have poor lighting. You could wait for a full moon and save some cash.

Brown woven straw in a circular pattern, short brim, black band.

I'm starting to think it was just custom made, and since hatters charge an assload for their craft so i'm-a-thinkin' i'm gonna have to give up my search. There just simply is no carbon copy floating around out there.

i think the quality of the photo isn't doing the hat justice.

I dont think its a straw woven hat. I'm pretty sure it's a wool derby or bowler style hat. check my link from mybabyjo again

the NY times fashion article on the band mentioned adrock got his hat custom made from Selco, a Brooklyn based Hat company since the 1800's

It's definitely straw, hemp or something else. It's not any type of wool or polyester or anything smooth. All the pictures I have from that night (the one i posted being the most clear- you can see the weave lines on it) as well as my faint memory from the evening all point to straw.

The link you posted is the same style, just wrong material. I have 3 other hats similar to the one you posted
