i, like nata, intend to spend most of the weekend eating and drinking. today we went to a pub in bath and some interesting (read: extremely drunk) west country boys accosted us. "i'm going to show you the best night of your life," apparently. oh yeah? after 8 pints? i think not, babe. also, i really appreciated the "i want to fuck your mother.. in the ass!" declaration when we left (y) classy.

my mum's version of an easter present for her friend involved fig vodka in a bunny basket, so hopefully i'll get a similar gift.

I was dreading Easter all week, because it's the first 'family thing' to come up since my ex and I broke up, and I'll have lots of questions to answer and he won't be there for the first time in 6-7 years and yeah.

It's been fun so far though *touches wood*. My friend and I hit up a bar last night, couple of boys had a crack, I did my first guilt-free bump n' grind on the d-floor and scored a couple of numbers that I will not call because I am much too old for the boys providing them.

Today I am hungover and baking hot cross buns in order to prepare a chocolate/bun filled hamper as a present to my family and also making masses of potato salad for the biiig lunch/dinner thing tomorrow.

I'm also going out tomorrow night for a massive one, and maybe find some boys my own age :o Happy Easter all!

I hate the holidays. It's usually just me and him now because they leave and my brother broke up with his girlfriend. But still, it's us everyday. I miss being young.

I went to church today for the first time in forever. I got a little choked up sitting in the same pew I used to sit in 20 years ago when I was a little kid. My Sunday school teacher was there and she remembered me! Wild.

I will be getting married in this church in about a year. Things really come full circle.

I'm not really religious, neither is my family but we usually would use it as an excuse to all get together or just do family related things.

Today being away from them all I will just be cooking up some mexican dishes for my roommates and hanging out with them. One roommate has his daughter with him too so it's kind of a second family I suppose.

^it took awhile for me to figure out what this was. i hope everyone had a good easter.

...so on Easter Sunday I was at the bus stop, coming back from the book store. There's this kind of trashy looking blond sitting on one
of the benches -- trying to dress sexy but instead looking kind of sad with her belly hanging out of heer midriff shirt, etc.

So anyway. Along comes this other girl. INSANELY hot, dark-haired girl. Nice big butt poured into her jeans, really nice breasts,
cleavage showing. So she's dressed kind of trashy, too, but totally sells it. Cars and a couple of motorcycles driving by -- and I swear
I've never seen this before -- honking, calling to her, etc. She just kept her back toward traffic and kept talking.

Meanwhile, blond girl has struck up a conversation ("Where'd you get your jeans!?") which quickly turned to Spanish. I kept getting up
from my bench to look... uh, down the street, to see if the bus was coming. (Partly true.)

On the bus, the blond girl took a call from a friend, so I got to hear an English language recap. Apparently, the dark haired girl is from
Colombia.

I got off the bus and so did another fellow. He turned to me and said, "Do you think they'e dancers? I bet they are!" And I said
something in agreement then had this strong impulse to modify it to say only the dark haired girl was hot. Anyway, I told him she's
from Colombia, and about all the drivers going past honking at her and stuff and we just laughed.

Damn. It was such a beautiful day, too.
