I like pretty much everything I've heard of theirs. Some songs aren't as repeatable as others, but I still like it.

i got the first album - not heard the sound of silver but might pick it up at that price.

Daft punk is playing is stand out track for me but its ok, i think they have a different sound, not sure about the "90's sounding" comment.

SOS is SO good. i play several of those tracks in my set. i'd say Get Innocuous is the easiest track to mix, ever!

"Get Innocuous" is the shit (though thanks to a GTAIV commercial...and because of the electro/punk/disco/complex seduction/I'm not exactly the best music describer); though that's all I heard of them so far.

I'm going to assume though their quite popular in the UK.

What's the appeal? That's difficult to answer. I have a feeling that there are folks within the BLOGOSPHERE (haha internet 2.0!!!!) who just jump on the bandwagon of "OH SHIT THEYRE AWES0ME!11!!1" to raise their adsense margins. The man behind the group even jokingly admitted that he's a hack but he's old enough to have been through the early 90's grunge period and it's aftermath.

I personally didn't like as much of their music until Sound of Silver. The Yeah EP was good and the other albums were hit and miss. Besides, why would Daft Punk play at one particular house and not mine? I don't know how they'd get that pyramid thing in there either.
