I was flying on my jetpack and I said GoBots were Taiwans version of the Transformers. We got into a fight and she said that she wouldn't pray to her fat man god for me anymore and I said that I wouldn't pray to my 15 Elephant Headed God that I know is real for her anymore.
Now, she's reading her Buddha Book, like serious and shit. Going to Temples and the whole 9.

As far as I see it: Everyone has some sort of ideals of who they are and what they are and that makes them a person. My moral compass is all fucked up but I still know basic right from wrong. Still doesn't stop me but I know. Which I guess makes it all the worse

I have a Friend of Mine that this difference of religion is wrecking his marriage. I see it as less than significant. Whatever helps someone else then great for them: Far be it for me to disagree philosophically against something that seems help someone live their day to day lifel

At this Point in my Life~ I think It's all a bag of shit and that people grasp at straws trying to find the meaning of life meanwhile pointing fingers at everyone else telling them they are wrong if their views don't mend with theirs. Theologically the fundamentals all seem to be the same principles and the world would be a better place if everyone put them in practice. But Greed gets in the way. I respect A-Z, he seems to have a firm grasp on this. Though I'm sure his views may differ from mine: Fundamentally we're on the same page

No Question Here: I just want to reread this months/yeasrs down the road.

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

I'm not sure exactly what you mean here, but please be advised I'm the king of the hypocrites; I'm definitely not living the life right now.
If anybody were to look at me and think "That's how a practicing Christian behaves..." that would suck.

Well I'm an atheist and mr.p is more of an agnostic, but so far it doesn't seem to have caused much conflict in our relationship.

Well, my last relationship was ruined by religion. Rather, it was ruined by a stubborn, old-fashioned, narrow-minded father who was obsessed with his religion and forced his son to choose between dating a non-Jew or having a family. God hates him and his intolerant attitude.

Brett's "Catholic" which basically means he was raised that way but is pretty agnostic now. I'm the same way. It works out pretty well.

i grew up baptist and my husband was raised catholic. neither of us stuck with it, but it's funny how different we can be with ideals that were taught to us through religion.

I'm curious about this. What do you mean? Slipping back into old habits?
