I don't think I ever properly finished this game. It was good, damn good but it just didn't quite have that epic feel that TOOT had which made you NEED to finish the game. I think I even got up to the end bit with the moon and shit as well but just never finished it. Saying that I did really enjoy some of the mask shit and that bomber's notebook or diary or whatever it was. Even though it could get repetitive going back and seeing the same shit again it was also super rad how there was so much shit going on at the same time.

Anyways I think I lost my copy, will someone send me theirs?

hmm, i don't think it was free with the gamecube. i certainly didn't get it when i purchased my machine.

ocarina of time came included with special edition wind wakers, but i didn't hear about a zelda collector's edition at the gamecube launch. i had to pay quite a few buckaroos in ebay for it : ( maybe it was just the states?

yeah i worked at retail store at the time. around 2004. i think the gamecube was $99 and it came with the game. actually... i think it was just a special at the store i worked at. i'm kicking myself for not taking advantage.

it doesn't include link to the past, which is the best one-but i have it already anyway.

Ocarina of Time broke my heart. Got really far into it and got stuck on one bit and gave up.

I never tried to complete a game again.

It's probably the only Zelda game I haven't beaten. We're including those ones for the Gameboy Color here too. The weird save system and the diary and so much crap to remember when you come back after a week of not playing it... I could be doing anything at the save point I'm at. I'd probably have to pour over a guide and hope I pick the right spot to start again. I can't be fucked to do such a thing when I've got Rock Band and a few hundred achievement points to be gotten in Forza 2.

with that said, it's truly a unique title and hats off to the development team for trying something a little different. I'd have to go it in one sitting to beat it I suppose.

Always loved the idea of the Zelda series but never had the opportunity to get into any of them until Twilight Princess. And that game is ugly as fuck. And I only play it once a month. And only with gamefaqs up on the computer, using the walkthrough every step of the way. :D

Is Rock Band any good? Which system?

I played Majora's Mask when I was a kid but me only being around 12 at the time, it was kind of hard. I got right up to the end but never finished it. On a side note though, if you didn't have some kind of guide it was hard to get all the masks and everything because of how some of them had to be during a certain time of the day and things like that :(

I recently bought a 64 so I could go back and play all the games I had as a kid and Majora's Mask is pretty high on my list to buy right now.

Kid p, I have Rock Band for the 360. I really liked the Guitar Hero series but I'm loving this particular package. (I have the whole set, btw.) It took a while to get used to the new guitar but I have a preference for the drums over all else. I've never played drums before so it was all pretty new to me.

In terms of songs, there's a varied selection including the downloadable content. I like doing the solo stuff but it's a ton of fun if you have people over. I think I've played more Rock Band than I've used my Wii. And I've only been having Rock Band since January.

Speaking of DLC, the Boston pack of songs kicks ass. I never thought I'd use "kick ass" and Boston in the same sentence but there you go.

I ought to post my gamertag in that other thread.

This game takes FOREVER to get everything. Well, at least a solid 40 hours the first time with no guides. Even then, it's tough, but I pulled it off.

The wedding mask is the longest, most drawn out, dumbest quest I've ever done. Whatever, a piece of heart for that song and dance?

At least I got the Fierce Diety mask out of it.

Funniest thing to do in that game is getting the bomb mask and NEVER paying for bombs ever again.

I can't beat the Water Temple in MM. Messing with the water levels is frustrating.

The internet is your friend. (http://www.handhelditems.com/gamecube-wired-controller-black-p-12522.html) Or just go to wal mart and get a really cheap one. Better than nothing.

I can't remember how hard the Water Temple was in MM. I just know that the one in OoT is pull your hair out hard if you don't have a guide.
