Again??

What the fuck? I still have tons of $.39 and a good amount of $.02. Now I'll have to get $.01. 3 stamps across...thats just out of hand.

Get some makeup stamps and a roll of the forever stamps and you're good for a while.

Or just use up the two cent stamps. Hell, it's only a penny you'd be wasting.

The postal service has only been in the black under one postmaster general:

Ben Franklin. True story.

A-z I know you are a fan of the post office...I know mail delivery is not a charity service....but these constant rate hikes still bother me. maybe it's just inflation hiking it up, but I'm not super impressed with how they deliver mail in my neck of the woods and I don't like paying more for mediocre service. but that's just me.

Personally, I wish they'd just up the rates and cut the bulk mail program. I bet 99% of those circulars just get tossed and wind up as landfill.

And this forever stamp thing is the postal form of social security or something. Except I'm not sure anyone will stock up enough to really
make it count, so maybe not.

Mostly I am. I mean, for physical letters and certain packages, it's a fucking bargain, and stuff usually does arrive in good time and on shape.

They do need their tracking service to be in real time, though. Doesn't do me any good to know an item has reached my city the day after
I got it in the mail.

If you look at inflation...a couple of cents every few years really isn't that big of a deal
