Pelham: north east section of the boogie down (aka the Bronx- birth place of hip-hop)
Pelham is the terminus (last stop) of the 6 train, which as we learn from the film trains are known by their terminus locale and arrival time (Pelham 1:23).
Consider yourself schooled.

walter matthau and robert shaw: this is SUCH a kick-ass movie.

i already know what's gonna bug me most about the remake is the sanitized squeaky clean trains. nyc subways are no longer film-worthy.

and denzel has now participated in the defilement of 2 of my favorite classics. (manchurian) :mad:
