View Full Version : Completed video games
This is a thread to post what video games you have beaten.
I beat Final Fantasy VI Advance tonight. This is a milestone for me, because one, I haven't beat a game in a long time, and two, I can finally say I've beaten Final Fantasy VI. I've been playing this game on and off since I was a kid. Yay.

Is that the one you have to play through twice? I loved that one.
Blimey I don't know where to begin...I try to complete all that I buy. I can remember the toughest in recent ages beging DMC3 on PS2.

final fantasy I (PS1 re-issue)
final fantasy II (PS1 re-issue)
final fantasy mystic quest (:o)
zelda: ocarina of time
megaman legends
thrasher skate & destroy
such great memories of the PS1 days. i've played a ton of video games but i have a bad habit of getting bored with them towards the end of the game and quitting. i hate to do it... but it just happens. then i get the urge to beat them months later and i don't remember the story :(

I think the last game I finished was Lego Star Wars 2: Original Trilogy for PS2.
Unless finishing a season of Madden 06 counts.
i haven't been into gaming since the Onimusha series went kaput.

More than this thread can handle
I like games that have an ending. Asteroids, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Galaga to name a few never end. You always end up losing.
For the 360 ~Assassins Creed, Kane & Lynch:Dead Men, Timeshift, Jericho, and Ninja Gaiden Black, which I played off and on again for nearly a year was just finished earlier last week. That was one helluva game and worth the 360 alone. But it took me forever to get my wooden sword built up to the max.
Which is good for me because I tend to orphan a lot of games once the thrill is gone.
Right now I'm working on Overlord: Beautiful Game
I'm 1st in line for that Don King Boxing Game. I loved both Rocky's and it's made by the same company. Fight Night sucked. The joy stick punching was filled with suck.

Dude, That was magic. I hear that PacMan kinda ends the same way as well but it just goes into code and freaks out.
I never knew that game had an end. If it was up to me Mario would have ended it in The Pie Factory

I just finished Goldeneye 64 on Agent mode. I'm going to play through and get the last two levels. I've got my eye on you, Baron Samedi.

there's two endings, yeah, depending on if you save or kill them. i dunno what happens if you do approximately half and half, i've just heard that there are only two endings, so i'd say that if you want to see the other ending, do the extreme opposite of whatever you did the first time through.

those two last levels take god-like skills, at least i always thought so.

i took the easy route (y). i guess i'll have to beat it the hard way also. then i'll burn it like a bra in the 60's.

Best game ever made. When it came out on the DS I was able to enjoy my all-time favorite video game on the shitter, which made it that much more delightful.

Indeed there is! Bioshock takes the cake for the 360's best game, if you ask me.

i'm playing xenogears at the moment. it's pretty fun. anyone beat it?
Xenogears was awesome for it's time. The semi-twist near the end was pretty off the wall for RPG's in that era. Remember how the game started out looking like? Compare that to the "factory". Great huh? I miss playing it! My cousin owns it and it's probably worth a lot of money right now. That bastard has a copy of Chrono Trigger too. I curse him! (I have Super Metroid so it's all good.)
Oh yeah and mate_spawn_die, you NEED to play Portrait of Ruin. There are no boomerangs to spam with but it's a lot of fun. And one of the older characters makes a cameo appearance. It's awesome.

i'll check it out sometime. but the newest systems i have are x-box and ps-2 :o i don't know much about new games... but i love castlevania.
i always wanted to play chrono trigger. i own final fantasy chronicles... i might start playing it after i beat xenogears.
You won't regret it. Chrono Trigger is one of my favorite RPGs ever. I can't find a flaw in it, really.
Nothing wrong with the PS2 or XBOX, dude. I still love mine. Is your PS2 a fatty or one of the slim ones? If it's a fatty you ought to look into modding it. There's this softmod method that works well if you have a network adapter. I know some stuff about it so hit me up if you have any questions.
Odin Sphere is a newer game but it harkens back to some old school hack n slash action with light RPG elements. It's pretty cheap these days... close to $15 if you know where to look. Oh yeah, Okami is such a Zelda clone without being one. I loved the shit out of it too. Hard to find now though. I could go on forever...

Great game. I almost beat it when I was 5 but I never knew how to get the mana sword when you fight the dragon so I was pretty much screwed. One day I'll buy a copy and SNES of the bay and beat it (y)
I beat Final Fantasy IV Advance.
