I think Cher's retired a few times, too.

Did Rod Stewart?

And didn't the Rolling Stones have a farewell tour at one point?

Actually, I think the press release was just that they want to do another movie together. There's no specific deal or project, from what I understand.

Kinda like when Paul Newman was saying for a couple years that he and Redford wanted to do one more.

It's like -- um... okay...?

you're forgetting barbra streisand. olds babs is queen of the retirement circuit.

jet li filmed in glasgow a few years back - a film called fearless. or, if you go by it's working title, 'danny the dog'. he was pretty cool as i recall. but would you expect jet li to be anything but?

still house-sitting atm, and they have a can of steven seagal's energy drink LIGHTNING BOLT in the fridge givin' off some zen. it has his face on it, looking serious and martial art-y. it includes unidentifiable "asian botanicals". imma take a picture.

No, that was "Unleashed", "Fearless" was a different Jet Li film. Both enjoyable.

Oh, and Jet Li said he was retiring from "epic martial arts movies" (like Fearless) I dont know if this new one falls in that category, but he never said he was retiring from movies.

Maybe retiring from epic martial arts that doesn't involve with speaking English? =3

i did not. it's their one and only can.

a friend of theirs, in a moment of madness, decided to buy two fucking crates of steven seagal elixir off ebay while pissed. he gifted them the one can. i can't remember what he said to describe the asian botanical tastiness, i'll ask when they come back.

i fear if i open it a door to another dimension may be created.
