I've got a VHS of my old band that I want to get on Youtube but how do I do it?
Any help will be fucking great(y)

You can buy VHS players with USB ports for connecting to your pootah.

paul have you got a branch of snappy snaps near you? You can take VHS tapes there and they can digitise them onto disc for you in a way that you can then upload them onto your computer.

I was like totally I gotta have that one (I've got some old Nomads gigs that I filmed about 20 years ago and I've promised
copies for the band and still haven't done it cause I want them to be on DVD) until I read the last line: Made in China...

If you know someone with a DVD player/ recorder, you can run your VCR into it and burn to disc and then transfer it to the computer.
DVD recorders go for about $100 I think.
